About the internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Insurance Survey Work:
1. Conducting surveys and assessing losses across various departments (Motor, Fire, Marine Cargo, Engineering, Miscellaneous, and Loss of Profit) for the general insurance industry
2. Visiting sites to gather evidence of loss, including photographs, videos, statements, and CCTV footage
3. Negotiating with insured officials to minimize losses and dispose of salvage, while preparing inventories of safe and damaged materials/stocks
4. Issuing Immediate Loss Advice, Letter of Requirements, and scrutinizing/verifying supporting documents provided by the insured
5. Preparing preliminary/interim/final Survey Reports for losses
2. Marketing, Empanelment, and Relationship Management: Empanelment in Government and Private General Insurance Companies (GICs):
1. Approaching private and public GICs to collect information for empanelment
2. Preparing documents and facilitating the empanelment process with company directors
3.. Marketing in already impaneled GICs
4. Regularly visiting GICs to meet managers and promote services
5. Regularly contacting GIC managers via calls and WhatsApp messages to promote services
3. Team Building:
1. Recruiting valuers from different cities and associating them with the company
2. Sending proposals to recruited associates
3. Gathering contact details and addresses of associates
4. Compiling a list of associates by district and state
5. Establishing a nationwide team
6. Allocating tasks to associates and ensuring completion
Note: Comprehensive training and support will be provided by the company for all the mentioned points (A, B, C).
