IISc Summer Fellowship in Science and Engineering for SC/ST Students – 2012 – Bangalore

IISc-IPC Summer Fellowship Program 2012 IISc Bangalore is inviting applications for  its Summer Fellowship Program in Science & Engineering for SC/ST students. A golden opportunity to spend the summer at India’s leading research and education institute. The last date to apply is 20th April 2012 – hurry!

About the internship: – Selected candidates  will work with one of the IISc Faculty members and learn various techniques used in research for a period of one month during May-June 2012.

Who can apply: – SC/ST students studying I year M.Sc  in  science disciplines (Biological, Physical, Chemical and Mathematical Sciences) or  III year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree, during the academic year 2011-12.

Location: – IISc Bangalore

Duration: – 1 month (between May-June 2012)

Stipend: – Rs. 5,000/- + Book grant of Rs. 1,500/- + Free boarding and lodging + To & fro II class train fare
