Summer/Winter Internship in Mumbai – Research – IIT Bombay

IIT Bombay’s commitment to merging education with the creation of knowledge provides a fertile ground for productive research that has led to a range of scientific and technological achievements. The primary aim of the institution is to foster the culture of research and higher studies among the students. It is from this viewpoint that IITB Research Internship Awards have been introduced. The last date to apply is 20th September 2012 – hurry!

About the internship: – The selected students would work with an IITB faculty during the course of the internship. The internship would be an educational and professional research experience for the selected students in their area of interest in the field of science and engineering.

Who can apply: – The student should be in the second year of a Masters program, or third / fourth year of a Bachelors program and a full-time student while applying and till the completion of the internship.

Location: – IIT Bombay

Duration: – 4 to 6 months between December 2012 to June 2013

Stipend: – Rs. 10,000/- per month + free accommodation (subject to availability)
