About IISc: – TheIndian Institute of Science (IISc) is a premier public institution for scientific and technological research and higher education.

About the Summer Training: – This internship is a rare opportunity to work at the IISc. Selected candidates  will work with one of the IISc Faculty members and learn various techniques used in research for a period of one month.

Who can apply: – SC/ST students studying I year M.Sc  in  science disciplines (Biological, Physical, Chemical and Mathematical Sciences) or  III year B.E./B.Tech or equivalent degree may apply for this internship.

Location: – Bangalore

Duration: – Students will be required to work for a period of 1 month during May-July, 2013.

Stipend: – Students will receive a fellowship of Rs.5000 along with other benefits.
