A couple of months ago I asked to post this internship on Internshala. We had an overwhelming response, and eventually decided upon an intern from IIT Madras and one from GGSIP University, Delhi. They lived in Solapur, Maharashtra for slightly less than two months and in that time helped set up our last Solar Lantern project in the village of Pathari.
They helped us in doing a survey of the village and provided us with invaluable insights for both our financial and technical model. Thanks to their presence, the initial distribution of Solar Lanterns on the 27th of July went swimmingly, and a lot of the expected hiccups of a new project were avoided. All in all, it was a really good experience for GVV and I hope it was for them as well!
