Backend Development Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Perform well-defined engineering tasks
2. Work on writing readable/testable/efficient code, mastering technology in our stack, and learning to anticipate scaling issues
3. Seek to tie projects back to user value & impact for our customers
4. Communicate well with all members of the team
5. Alert the manager/team to any issues preventing their work from being accomplished and ask for help

Requirements:

1. Experience in development using Ruby/Python
2. Design and implement solutions to extract data from diverse websites, adhering to project requirements
3. Implement robust data extraction and parsing mechanisms to ensure accurate and structured data retrieval
4. Should have live projects available to demonstrate
5. Good understanding of object-oriented programming
6. An agile mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements
7. Good at analyzing and solving problems
8. Passionate to work in a start-up
