Your Internship Story Testimonials

Your Internship Story was as much fun for the participants and winners as it was for Team Internshala — see for yourself!

It was wonderful being able to put into words a month’s experience and hard work that I went through for the first time ! For me, it was my first internship, and what more, penning it down earned me a cute t-shirt and a good certificate as well! ;) It really provides a good boost when you enjoy something like writing and composition, and there is good receipt of your work and effort at the other end :)
It was a thrilling experience!

– Aishwarya Dayal, St. Stephen’s College

Internshala has made a great effort in taking this initiative for the young students, by encouraging them to share their internship experiences with their peers as well as other students all over, helping the inexperienced ones in making their choices and in understanding the challenges and positive aspects of internships in their field as well as in other fields. It has also established a networking platform for future students in finding right opportunities for internships.

– Krutika Katrat, ACTREC, Tata Memorial Centre, Navi Mumbai

I am not a regular writer, nor a blogger, but when I came across this competition I thought of participating in it, and believe me within no time I wrote down my experience without any hesitation. It was all because of the push this competition gave me that I feel like writing more and more about my different experiences now.

– Lovenish Atal, IMT Ghaziabad

I had an amazing experience venting out my ideas through this platform. It also helps others to know what an intern in a specified company or otherwise leads to or results in. I would like to thank Internshala for portraying such an idea and implementing it.

This is a wonderful initiative from Internshala to encourage management graduates to share their internship experiences. By reading stories of hundreds of our peers, we are able to obtain different insights and perspectives w.r.t. the different areas in management. It also helps us get a peek into how things work in different organizations and helps us understand the opportunities different sectors have to offer us once we enter the corporate world. Kudos to Internshala for this wonderful platform! :)

The experience was really great and earlier though I was a bit  skeptical that my internship will be appreciated or not as it was not with a big MNC but winning this contest makes me feel more proud about choosing the internship I chose (I had actually ditched an internship with a big chemical company to pursue this internship with IIM).

Internshala gave me a platform to voice my opinion about my internship. The experience I had was beyond words, but the fingers would always tingle to put them down on paper. It was truly a learning experience and in some way, it helped me become a better man. Thank you Internshala!

– Deboprotim Borah, Tezpur University

It is not everyday that you come across online contests that are authentic. However, Internshala – Your Internship Story competition was not only authentic but very well organised and encouraging. I had never thought there could be an organization that gave so much of importance to the way we utilized time during summer vacations. Very encouraging!

P.S:  The T-shirt and the certificate were damn good ! :D

– Tanvi Gupta, JUET Guna

An excellent effort. It should be one of the most innovative things of all times. Juniors actually get to know of so many experiences that they never could have and this actually makes it easier for them to choose between the areas they want to gain their experience in in the upcoming summers/winters. It helped me last year and I am pretty sure it’ll help students even this year. All the best to Internshala and all the followers of Internshala who are going to be greatly benefited by it.

The contest shifts our focus on what we want and we are dreaming and visualizing the things for having them one day. It’s one kind of a positive thought that motivate us to work smartly. Thank you.

– Sachin Hembram, NIT Rourkela

It was the first such contest of its kind in my life. I didn’t quite know my writing skills were good enough until you selected it, followed by getting positive responses from so many people. It was a complete honour to be acknowledged at such an overwhelming scale. Thank you Internshala. Keep up the good work ! :)

It was a great walk down the memory lane. Writing all this actually made me realise what I actually experienced there and the small things that could have been left un-attended and realised had I not put it into words. Thank you so much.

– Akshay Dongarwar, VNIT Nagpur

I really enjoyed the whole experience of my association with Internshala.
It’s a very vibrant and interactive forum. There’s a dual service provided by Internshala: giving the interns an opportunity to share their internship experiences and spreading awareness among readers regarding various internships available within and outside India. Being a student of behavioural economics, I personally appreciate your “incentive” based approach. For every action, you have a small incentive which motivates the participants to improve their performance. Great work!

– Divya Malhotra, Christ University Bangalore

Brilliant contest which was never organised before. Opportunity to know about different students and how they found their way through difficult situations during their internship.

– Kalpit Mehta, Manipal Institute of Technology

Never thought that I could share my experience such a way. Thank you Internshala.

– Pooja Mehrish, Delhi University

An excellent experience, very rarely would ‘writing’ about an internship be well appreciated. It is an interesting way for any first-timer to understand what to and what not to expect in an internship.

– Swati Shetty, JBIMS

It was a nice experience. I read the stories of the participants and see that how their internship was. All the best for next year’s competitors and may this type of competition goes on and on!

Thank you!

– Gitanjali Maria, LIBA Chennai

Great and it was nice to see the effort made to deliver the present across the border. It felt good and was a great opportunity to connect :) Perhaps in the future, this (website and internship) could function as a medium and bridge between the two nations.

– Sara, IBA

It was good to participate in it and read others’ stories too. Good job Internshala Team! :)

– Divish Gupta, IIT Delhi

Taking part in this contest helped me write about my experiences of my internship, something I wouldn’t have done otherwise. What I’ve written, now, serves to me less as something I had written as a contest entry, and more as a keepsakes, for without it, I probably would’ve forgotten many of these memories over time.

– Aditi Annapurna, LSR

First of all, I was glad to put in my internship experience, which could re-enrich me by recalling the wonderful memories. As with any contest, there was a lot of excitement involved. I would say the most wonderful and refreshing part was reading through the internship experiences of winners.

Thanks to the contest and the attractive prizes it offers, I had the drive to pen down my account of an internship abroad, something I was procrastinating with!
