Vanderbilt Summer Science Academy- Vanderbilt University

The Vanderbilt Summer Science Academy (VSSA) offers biomedical research opportunities to undergraduates who want to pursue a career in the biomedical sciences. There are two major tracks within the VSSA; the Basic Science Programs for undergraduates interested in careers in research, and the Undergraduate Clinical Research Internship Program for undergraduates who wish to pursue a career in medicine. The deadline for the application is 1st February, 2013- hurry!

About Vanderbilt University: –  Vanderbilt University issued it first diplomas to 61 Doctors of Medicine in 1875. Since then Vanderbilt University has registered many achievements. Vanderbilt University School of Medicine ranks 14th among accredited medical schools.

About Internship: – Selected students will have the opportunity to network with Vanderbilt students and faculty, and present their project at a research symposium held at the end of the summer session.

Location: – Nashville, Tennessee, USA.

Stipend: – Students will receive a stipend determined by the specific program they enter ranging from $2500-$4000.
