About the internship: Prof. Shubhankar Dam is looking for research assistants to conduct research on India’s post-independent political history. It will involve collecting and collating data, locating articles, preparing notes etc.
Who can apply: This position is for students residing in Delhi who are pursing Ph.D in Political Science or History. Ph.D students must have completed their basic training in research methodology. Students with quantitative skills are preferred. Basic knowledge of modern Indian history will be useful.
Location: The work will be done in libraries in New Delhi.
Duration: Candidates will work part time initially for 2 months, and duration may be extended subject to performance.
Start date: July 2013 (flexible)
Stipend: It is a paid Internship.
