About SMS: – Stree Mukti Sanghatana (http://www.streemuktisanghatana.org) is an NGO which has directed its efforts towards the uplifting of women by creating social awareness about their issues and issues related to equality, peace and development. It is an apolitical, autonomous, voluntary organization based in Mumbai.
The list of awards that have been conferred on the team (Ashok fellowship, invitee to Clinton Global Initiative in 2010 to name a few) speaks volumes about the impact SMS has had on the lives of thousands of people.
About Internship: – The selected intern will handle following responsibilities –
1. Process and operations optimizations in terms of improving supply chain and also inventory handling.
2. People who can help us in designing and developing Management information systems.
3. Market research on recycling industry and recycled products and development of business models over that.

Who can apply: – Management Graduates in Operations, Systems, Marketing or General management students / Engineering students can also apply

Duration: – 2 months
Start Date: – May 2012
