With the HSCI Internship program, The Harvard Stem Cell Institute aims to provide undergraduate students with a focused and challenging summer research experience in a cutting-edge stem cell science laboratory, and to expose them to different professional options within the scientific arena. About the internship: – This program represents an exciting opportunity for undergraduates to gain hands-on experience in stem cell research while working in a Harvard Stem Cell Institute (HSCI) laboratory under the supervision of an experienced researcher. Interns are expected to work full time in the host laboratory for the duration of the internship, attend the weekly seminar and stem cell companion course.
Who can apply: – Applicants who will receive their baccalaureate degrees by September, 2013, or are currently in high school or graduate/medical school, are ineligible and their applications will not be considered. Exceptions are made for international students in six- or seven-year ‘medical programs’. Some background in biological science is essential.
Location: – Cambridge and Boston, USA
Duration: – 2 months (between June 10 – August 16, 2013)
Stipend: – $4, 320.00
