Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program- Institute for Humane Studies- George Mason University
The Charles G. Koch Summer Fellow Program is a paid internship for undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate student studying in all majors. Interns gain real-world experience, take a crash course in market-based policy analysis, and acquire the professional skills necessary to effect change. Participating internship hosts include more than 80 think tanks and policy organizations across the United States. The deadline for this internship is 31st January- hurry!
About the Institute for Humane Studies: – The Institute for Humane Studies was founded in 1961 by Dr. F. A. “Baldy” Harper, a former economics professor at Cornell University. The IHS is devoted to research and education in the conviction that greater understanding of human affairs and freedom would foster peace, prosperity, and social harmony.
About the Internship: – It’s a 10 week program: June 3rd- August 10th, 2013. The selected candidates will be working at a state, federal or single-issue policy. Please visit IHS page for detailed information
Who can apply: – The application is open for undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate students from all countries and studying in all majors.
Location: – Washington DC, USA.
Stipend: – All the participants will receive a stipend of $1,500 plus housing assistance, and a limited number of interns will be provided travel scholarships.
