Internship in Delhi – Human Rights – NHRC
An exciting internship opportunity at the National Human Rights Commission, Delhi. Interns will be subjected to several sessions on various human rights issues which will serve to sensitize the interns. The last date to apply is 20th April 2013 – hurry!
About National Human Rights Commission :- The NHRC is an autonomous public body. It is responsible for the protection and promotion of human rights in India
About the internship: – The internships will be based on ‘human rights’ and will involve interaction with NHRC members and project work. The internship will also consist of field visits to jails, NGOs, juvenile homes, old age homes, etc.
Who can apply: – Students belonging to the following categories can apply:-
- Human Rights
- MA in Human Rights
- Political Science
- Sociology
- Social Work
- Criminology
- Public Administration
- Rural Development
- History
- International relations
- Any of the discipline of Social Sciences
Location: – Delhi
Duration: – 27th May to 25th June 2013 (1 month)
Stipend: – Rs. 8,000 for students from outside Delhi, Rs. 4,000 for students from Delhi and NCR region.
