About Association for Democratic Reforms: – The Association for Democratic Reforms (http://adrindia.org/) was established in 1999 by a group of professors from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. One of ADR’s signature projects is the Election Watch.Election Watch comprises background reports based on Criminal, Financial, Educational and Income Tax details of Candidates and Winners (MPs, MLAs and Ministers) who have contested Elections to State Assemblies, the Parliament and a few local bodies.
About the internship:– ADR looking at hiring interns with media and journalism background to assist the media and communications team at ADR. Selected candidates will be responsible for following:
- Preparing short video clippings from the pool of video footages available from ADR’s conferences, meetings and other media appearances for uploading on ADR website and YouTube.
- Creating thematic posters /pamphlets/ brochures and other communication material aimed at various stakeholders like voters in rural areas, for voters in urban areas and students.
- Preparing a short documentary film featuring the work undertaken by ADR.
- Preparing a coffee table book highlighting various issues in Indian politics and electoral-political reforms.

- Have excellent communication skills

- Be good with the computer and microsoft office
