Internship at Ambitionbox – Vidisha from RKGIT

Through this internship, Vidisha was able to grow herself professionally and had deep insight in her work culture. She developed her interest in writing and is ready to explore more in this field.

My summer vacation was going to start in a week and I had to go to my parental house so I was determined to do an internship during my vacation. Since I always wanted to become a
freelance writer and I started applying in the same field. Through Internshala, I got various ideas of how to improve my craft of writing and used this opportunity well.

I wanted to work from home in the field of content writing and development, so I applied to few companies and waited for their response. A week passed by and I didn’t receive any mail. I checked Internshala Dashboard, still no luck. I felt that I’m really bad at penning down my creativity. Post fifteen days I received a mail from a company saying that I had to submit a blog in 2 days to and after judging that they’ll confirm my selection. I wrote with my full heart expecting to get in, but I got no reply and I assumed that I shouldn’t have started all of this in the first place. After 5-6 days, I got an e-mail from Ambitionbox, confirming my selection and I was like, “Kudos Vidisha! finally, you made in.”

I was told about the work and it was taught so well that I started liking my work and found it enthusiastic. The work atmosphere was great and soothing. There was no pressure about the work and I gelled up well. The CEO of the company, Mr. Mayur Mundada was one of the finest persons I have met so far. He encouraged and reinforced me when I did well. I felt great that time because I was able to stand up to their standards and expectations. In my mind, I had a reason to celebrate. He made a personal investment of his time in correcting the interns when they made mistakes. The things I struggled with, he made it look effortless and always calmly taught how to write contents in a precise and apt way. He uses mistakes as tools where we can mould ourselves in a better way.

I had a great experience that helped me to grow as an individual. Before this internship, I had no idea about companies and what all it takes to get a good job. Here, I read many interview experiences and about the companies and now feel like yeah, I have to prepare myself well before placements begin in my college.

Eating chips, sipping coffee and working side by side! I had an awesome internship experience during my summers. Interning here was one of my best and memorable experiences and I’m glad that Ambitionbox gave me this wonderful opportunity to increase my knowledge and make me grow well.
