An Internship of My Dreams
I was amongst the army of Engineers who were looking for a path to follow their passion. It was during my technical internship when I realized that I need to get out of the world of cubicles and practice my interests. And thus, I started looking for an internship of my dreams.
As Paulo Coelho quoted in ‘The Alchemist’ –
“When a person really desires something, all the universe conspires to help that person to realize his dream.”
This became evident when the luck showered on me and I landed up with an internship as a student counselor in Internshala. Working as a tutor while pursuing my graduation gave me a passionate insight to bring a change in the educational sector in any way I can. And what could be better than Internshala! I am enthralled to be a part of an incredible team.
My first day at Internshala changed my views regarding typical office culture- no cubicles, earphones plugged into ears, people working while sitting on the floor, and cool tees instead of boring formals fascinated me to the core. Finding myself surrounded by an impactful environment gave me the satisfaction I was looking for.
Being the only girl in the Internshala -VTC team is an exciting responsibility. I see myself learning, pacing faster than ever, and most importantly tapping my true potential. Each day comes with its own set of challenges, helping me to climb upwards on my growth curve. I am amazed by the varied skill sets of every individual here. Believe me, when I say people worship their work here. They are physically bound by the four walls yet so free to work for their own. I look forward to learning, yearning, and earning. I have been a part of training and internship in the past, but the zeal of these super-charged humans is remarkable. And, certainly, this is the place where I can “Do Epic Shit”.
