About Scrappy Ventures: – Scrappy (http://www.scrappy.in/) is a self-funded start-up. Scrappy, which means being resourceful is the ability to achieve ambitious goals by utilizing disproportionately low quantity of resources. The founder of Scrappy has worked in various management roles at Google in multiple countries and is an alumnus of Carnegie Mellon University.
About the internship: – Scrappy Ventures is looking at hiring interns for Business Development role. Interns will be responsible for following
- Marketing company’s suite of web products and services in the travel, hospitality and media domain.
- Generating and maintaining leads to ensure a healthy sales pipeline.
- Conducting photo-shoots of businesses or liaise with company’s local photographer
- Meeting leads and converting them into customers

Who can apply: –Students currently doing there BBA/BMS are preferred. Students from other streams and recent graduates are also encouraged to apply. Desired skills/attributes:
- Excellent communication skills in English (ability to converse in the local language will be preferred)
- Should have own laptop or tablet device
- Should have a good understanding of functionality of websites such as eCommerce websites, online travel booking sites, and the broader Internet in general.
- Strong organization skills with great attention to detail
Location: – Mumbai
Work from home available: – No
Duration: – 2 months
Start date: – As soon as possible
Stipend: – Rs 10,000-15,000/ – per month + Performance bonus + Travel allowance + Internet & phone allowance + Work from home (when not in field) + Certificate
