About CERN openlab summer student programme: – By joining the CERN openlab Student Programme, you will work with some of the latest hardware and software technologies and see how advanced IT solutions are used in high energy physics.
You will have the opportunity to attend a special series of lectures given by CERN IT experts on advanced CERN-related topics and to visit the laboratory facilities and experiments.
Who can apply: – Undergraduate, Post graduate, or Ph.D. students in Computer Science or Physics, interested in working on advanced IT projects for two months.
Location: – Geneva, Switzerland
Duration: – 2 months
Stipend: – The stipend of CHF 5500 is sponsored by CERN and the CERN openlab industrial partners and should cover travel, accommodation and living costs during the two-month stay. Students must have their own health and accident insurance.
