About Kulhar: – Kulhar (www.kulhar.com) is a Delhi based organization and is an online hub that enables young individuals to explore varied opportunities available in the Indian political realm.
About Internship: – The intern will be responsible for:
- Visiting the politicians/political parties to gather information in relation to the given subject
- Writing articles on the elections and political matters by taking into account the opinions of concerned stakeholders
- Working on the research papers published by think-tanks and re-writing them in concise and lucid style
- Analysis of schemes, policies or initiatives taken by governments.
Number of internships: – 3
Who can apply: – The students having a background in Journalism, Law, Public Policy or Political Science will be preferred. Prior research experience will be an added advantage. Students with keen interest in political matters can also apply.
Location: – New Delhi/Work from home
Duration: – 1 month
Start date: – September, 2012
Stipend: – Performance based + a letter of recommendation will be provided on completion of internship
