How will I spend my 1st internship stipend?
As they say, “We feel free when we escape, even if it be but from the frying pan into the fire.”
Couldn’t have appreciated the quote more before this year’s summer internship…but that’s another story.
My stipend for the two months of work is roughly Rs. 50,000. I guess it’s the rush of earning your own bread or maybe the love for my parents, but I have decided not to trouble my dad and pay my institute fees with this money! And with the remaining I intend to buy a gift for my girl on her birthday!
As Einstein says, “No, this trick won’t work… how on earth are you ever going to explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love?”
And the first stipend? :)
