About UNHCR: – The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) is mandated to lead and co-ordinate international action to protect refugees and resolve refugee problems worldwide. Its primary purpose is to safeguard the rights and well-being of refugees.
About these Internships: – These internships are a great opportunity for students to work in the field of refugee protection. Students will be chosen for specific projects in the fields of refugee protection (legal), international relations, administration and public affairs.
Who can apply: – All students may apply for the internship.
Location: – Internships will mainly be offered by the Geneva and Budapest offices. Some internships may be offered in other locations as well.
Duration: – The duration of the internship will be between 2 to 6 months.
Stipend: – It is an unpaid internship.
