Ah, finally an internship for one of my favorite Engineering branches! A University Grant Commission (UGC) sponsored paid academic research summer internship at IISc Bangalore for Civil Engineering students. The last date to apply is 15th February 2012.
About Internship: – Department of Civil Engineering, Indian Institute of Science offers summer internship for bright and motivated second year or third year B.E./B.Tech Civil Engineering students. The program aims at motivating and promoting the culture of research at the undergraduate level in the Civil Engineering discipline.
Who can apply: – Undergraduate Students in second or third year B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering) are eligible to apply. Selection will be based on the scholastic record of the student in 10th and 12th classes, percentage (or CGPA) obtained so far in B.E./ B.Tech and a brief research proposal.
Location: – IISc Bangalore, India
Duration: – 8-12 weeks (May-July 2012)
Stipend: – INR 3,000 p.m + INR 1,000 for academic expenses
