IIT-ParisTech mobility programme 2012
The applications are now open for IIT-ParisTech mobility programme 2012. The program awards scholarships for candidates from ParisTech and from the participating IITs (Kharagpur, Bombay, Madras, Kanpur, Delhi, Guwahati, Roorkee) to complete a 3 to 6 months mobility (starting May 2012) in the partner country within an academic institution. IIT-ParisTech Fund priority areas are Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Fluid and Solid Mechanics, Chemistry and Materials Science. The last date to apply is 27th February 2012 – hurry!
About the programme: – Under the aegis of the Indo-French CEO’s Forum, the IIT-ParisTech Fund for Science & Technology has been created in November 2010 to foster cooperation between Paris Institute of Technology (ParisTech) and the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). As part of this program selected students can undertake Research project from 3 to 6 months in one of the participating ParisTech’s schools (AgroParisTech, Arts et Métiers ParisTech, Chimie ParisTech, Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, Ecole Polytechnique, ENSAE ParisTech, ENSTA ParisTech, ESPCI ParisTech, HEC Paris, Institut d’Optique Graduate School, Mines ParisTech, Telecom ParisTech).
Who can apply: – The IIT – ParisTech program is open to applicants at the following levels:
- Bachelor’s students in their 3rd or 4th year;
- Master’s students in their 1st or 2nd year;
- Ph.D. candidates
IIT-ParisTech Fund priority areas are Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Fluid and Solid Mechanics, Chemistry and Materials Science.
Duration: – 3-6 months
Start Date: – May 2012
Stipend: – 800 Euros + Accommodation + Airfare upto 600 Euros
