An exciting internship opportunity to spend summer in the Mecca of Football and street carnivals; Brazil! The target audience will be students from NITs and other leading central government funded institutes. IIT students are not eligible to apply. The last date to apply is 31st January 2012 – hurry!
About Internship: – Indo-Brazil Internship Program is on capacity building for students in India studying in leading technical institutions of India. The main thrust of this cooperation is on starting R&D projects between researchers in the two countries. This program envisages the support for 6 students every year to go to Brazil for their summer internship program for a period of 10 weeks. The students will have completed three years of a 4 year engineering degree. The target audience will be students from NITs and other leading central government funded institutes. IIT students will not be eligible.
Who can apply: – Students who have completed 3 years of 4 years B.Tech. / B.E. program in Computer Science and Engineering/Mathematics and Computing/Electronics and Communication Engineering are eligible to apply. Students need to have a minimum CGPA of 7/10.
Location: – Brazil
Duration: – 10 weeks (May-August)
Stipend: – Selected students will get financial assistance for this programme which includes air-fare from India to Brazil and back, Visa fees, Medical Insurance and living expenses @ US$150 per week/per person at actual
