How I regained my self-confidence through an online training!

As I got a college on the basis of merit in my hometown, my parents insisted that I stay in the town itself. I had a good academic background, but I was not satisfied by what was being offered. The traditional education system of theoretical teaching and writing an exam based on the topics that you crammed the night before, got to my nerves. That was when I started searching for online courses that could help me gain actual job-oriented skills. Also, I had friends who used to talk about Java or Python in the first year of engineering itself. I often felt alienated and that is when I decided to catch up.
I attended a workshop at Tryst 2015, IIT Delhi’s tech Fest. That is where I learnt about Internshala and its amazing platform of online training- Internshala Trainings. My parents were also pleased as I did not have to move out of town to get a training during vacations. In the meantime, I also learnt about other international websites offering project-based courses.
Now, I’ll be honest here. I did not join Internshala at once. I took my chances with an international website first. It is no surprise that I could not follow what was being taught and ultimately, out of frustration, I had to drop the course. This is when Internshala Trainings came to my rescue. I started the online training program in Java. I was absolutely amazed at how easily I could understand and follow the details. The assignments and the quizzes were amazing and provided a good learning experience. It was only through Internshala that my self-confidence was restored. After the training finished, I also started following the course which I had earlier dropped. I sincerely thank Internshala for bringing the important technical skills at my doorstep desktop. The Internshala Trainings teaches in a way that makes newcomers comfortable. One does not feel belittled at not knowing a new technology or concept and slowly can adapt to it. Personally, it gave me the hope that learning a new technology is not hard. The power of VTC lies in the fact that you can learn anything while sitting around anywhere in the world, and it is never too late to begin. The self-paced nature of the training made sure that I did not compromise with my college routine and exams.
