The one where Training and Placement Officer recommends online training
About the Author: Nikunj Agarwal is pursuing B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Adamas Institute of Technology. He joined Internshala Trainings for the Hacking training after his T&P cell recommended online training programs.
I came to know about Internshala during a seminar in our college on placement preparation. After the seminar ended, one official from the training and placement cell announced that those who wanted to do training or internships should make an account on Internshala website.
That evening, after returning to home, I checked the website and was ecstatic on seeing a variety of internships and online training programs. After a few days, my friend informed me about Internshala’s online workshops. I checked and confirmed that total 6 workshops were being organized on the topics such as Android, Analytics, Web development, Graphics design, Internship preparation, and Digital marketing and that too free of cost. I started registering for those workshops and attended all of them. Believe me, it’s totally worth it. You can get a lot of insights into the subject along with receiving a certificate in the end.
In the semester break, I did a training on Hacking as I had always wanted to learn the art of hacking. I registered for the 4-weeks training program from 1st July to 29th July 2016. The course is divided into 3 modules. After completing each module, you have to take a test for unlocking the next module. It contains 10 MCQs with the time limit of 10 minutes and is an effective way to check your learning. Everything is explained in detail and some extra resources are also provided for deeper knowledge. You can study the lessons at any time you want because there is no fixed deadline. Videos are also provided wherever needed for better understanding. In the end, one final exam is conducted which comprises of 30 MCQs with the time limit of 30 minutes. You get your certificate only after clearing this final exam.
The best part of the training is the support provided by Internshala team. If you don’t understand anything or if you face any kind of problem, you can raise a question any time of the day and you get a prompt response from the team. At the end of the training, you also get a PDF file of all the modules with all the topics covered.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me and I learned the basics of hacking efficiently. I’m thankful to Internshala for providing me this opportunity and making my summer holidays worthwhile.
