How I Cut My Teeth on Raspberry Pi
About the author: Zain Rajani is pursuing B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications from Don Bosco College of Engineering. He signed up for a total of 9 courses on Internshala Trainings. He recounts his experience with Internshala Trainings and how it helped him learn the basics of Raspberry Pi .
It all started with a workshop that I had in my college in the summer of 2015. The workshop was being conducted on Raspberry Pi and Arduino board with IoT. I was more inquisitive about the Raspberry Pi and I wanted to learn it. As there are hardly any training centres in Goa when compared to other cities, and it had already been 3 months since that workshop, my concepts were not clear. Then, I contacted the people who had organised that workshop in my college and communicated that I wanted to attend another Raspberry Pi workshop to learn about the board again. They suggested me to visit Internshala.com, and that’s how I reached here.
When I saw the site it just amazed me as I could opt for a lot of courses at any given time and at a reasonable cost. There were courses like VHDL which has a huge demand in today’s world. I opted for VLSI Design using VHDL, Core Java, Web Development, Android, Hacking, Python, Angular JS, Image processing, and Raspberry Pi course which helped me a lot. Especially those small projects at the end of the each module in Java helped me in understanding the concepts. Today I am working with Raspberry Pi pretty well, and I am also doing some projects on Raspberry Pi. The experience with Internshala was very beautiful and the support from the instructors was marvellous. At Internshala, a student can do courses that he likes and at his/her own pace. Internshala has a large number of courses which have great industrial applications, and the best part is that anyone can take these courses at any point of time be it a student or a professional from the industry.
There were a few issues which I faced during the course on Image Processing which made me doubtful about whether I would be able to complete the course on time. One major issue was the software. The software provided to me was not compatible with my system and I couldn’t make it work even after repeated installations. However, the problem got solved as the course progressed. I would like to thank Mr. Dattaprasad Naik, from Inventrom who was my instructor for Image processing course. And, also, a big thank you to Internshala as when I didn’t finish my course on time and requested them for an extension of a few days, they did that for me by giving me 4 extra days at no additional charges. Also, when the course material for IOT course couldn’t be downloaded they helped me to get it and emailed me the material of the course.
Now, I can write a number of courses in my CV that I have done with Internshala. Personally, I am all praise for Internshala. I am generally hesitant in providing good feedback, but my experience with Internshala was superlative. I am extremely pleased and it is one of the rare courses I have finished with a smile on my face. I would recommend this site to each and every student in the field of B.Sc/Engineering in Electronics/Computer/ Information Technology as it would help them to increase their chances of getting ahead than the others.
Thanks to Internshala and Inventrom for giving me the opportunity to learn such excellent courses.
