Internshala Woman Ambassador Program
In current times, when only 27% of the Indian women are a part of the workforce, this program aims to create women ambassadors who are willing to change the scenario. These women ambassadors will perform leadership roles to help the women in their network (re)start their careers through ‘Internships for Women’, an initiative that brings internships for those women who are looking to start or restart their careers. In this 3-month work-from-home program, the women ambassadors will be on a journey of helping the women of the nation and developing within themselves many marketing and leadership skills.
What will the ambassadors do:
The ambassadors will primarily create awareness about the ‘Internships for Women’ initiative among the women in their network (through offline and online marketing) and help them in (re)starting with their careers through internships. Some of the activities they will be performing are social media marketing, conducting FB Live sessions, talking to women of their locality, etc.
What will the ambassadors gain:
1. The top 3 performers will win cash prizes of INR 5000, INR 3000, and INR 2000.
2. All the ambassadors will get performance-based cash rewards, certificates, and/or goodies.
Further, the ambassadors will get to bring a change in the lives of many women by helping them get employed (through internships). Also, they will get to develop within themselves significant marketing and leadership skills.
Who should apply:
All those women should apply who:
1. are 25 years old or above (as of September 15, 2018)
2. have a passion to bring a positive change in the society, especially in the lives of women
3. have a strong desire to learn and sharpen their skills in the field of marketing and leadership

A. Any woman who is 25 years of age or above (as of September 15, 2018) can apply.
2. I am a housewife with no work experience. Can I apply?
A. Yes, you can. Any woman who is 25 years of age (as of September 15, 2018) or above can apply for this program irrespective of whether she is currently working, is on a career break, or has never worked before.
3. What will I do as an Internshala Woman Ambassador?
A. You will primarily create awareness about our ‘Internships for Women’ initiative among the women in your network (through offline and online marketing) and help them in having a professional identity.

A. The duration of the program is three months.

A. No, this program is a work-from-home program.
