About the internship: –Autodesk is looking at hiring interns for following projects:
1. Creating tools to deploy/launch various applications
More details on Creating tools to deploy/launch various applications internship
For this project interns will develop tool:
- That installs the applications on Desktop and Mobile.
- Launches web based application on different platforms in different environments
- Write scripts to manage updated builds on servers
- Participate in unit test, debugging and solving defects in implemented software solutions.
The key responsibilities include:
- Explore current methods of installing products on different platforms.
- Propose plan to use technology depending upon different platforms.
- Develop & test the tool for at least one platform.
Who can apply: – Engineering Undergraduate/Post Graduate/Ph.D degree with Computer Science background. Applicants should-
- Knowledge of software product lifecycle
- Strong skills in Scripting – Shell script, PHP Python, SQL
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to convey information in a polished, clear, concise, and professional manner
2. Video recording capability in native application like 123D Design iOS with script recording
More details on the project 2For this project interns will-
- Develop high-level software design, prototypes and production code to implement video recording capability
- Develop video recording component which work like a plug-in in any iOS application.
- Collaborate with software architects, product designers, product managers, test engineers and others to implement high-quality applications and solutions
- Participate in unit test, debugging and solving defects in implemented software solutions.
Specific responsibilities include-
- Overall prototype design
- Coding and unit testing
- Communicating period updates/status/issues facing
Who can apply: – Engineering Undergraduate/Post Graduate/Ph.D degree with Computer Science background. Desired skills:
- Knowledge of software product lifecycle
- Knowledge of C++, Operating System
- Multimedia knowledge mostly Video technologies like formats, encoding, decoding, recording etc.

3. Implementation of a Meta Command and API framework in a Solid Modeling – CAD application: This project proposes automatic deciphering of commands as much as possible.
Who can apply:– Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree (preferred) with Computer Science background. Desired skills:
- Good knowledge of C, C++, Data Structures and OO design principles
- Familiarity with CAD is preferable.
4. Data Analysis internship-

- Requirement Analysis: Clearing the requirements from the Business Analysts.
- Analysis: Check if all relevant data is available or not.
- Resource Analysis: Collect information related to tools/technologies needed to achieve above
- Result: Provide & verify desired results.
Who can apply: –Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s Degree (preferred) with Computer Science background. Desired skills:
- Knowledge of UNIX/Linux is a must.
- Basic knowledge of Core Java.
- Good to have Hadoop knowledge & its ecosystem – MapReduce, Hive/Pig, Oozie
- Prior experience of any Data warehouse is nice to have
5. SQL Promotion Tool (Development Intern): – SQL Promotion Tool is web based project which is used for promotion of SQL Script from one environment (Alpha, Beta, and Production) to other on one click.

- Running project on alpha.
