Internship in Bangalore – Computer Science/Electronics/Electrical – Notion Ink Design Labs
A paid internship opportunity for Electronics and Computer Science students to work with Notion Ink Design Labs. The application deadline is 4th April, 2013 – hurry! 
About Notion Ink Design Labs: – Notion Ink Design Labs is a privately held Consumer Electronic Original Equipment Manufacturer, focusing on Computing Tablets and related devices. Its product development includes Software Applications, Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, and Electrical and Embedded Electronics.
About the internship: – Below are 3 profiles:
1. Android Application Development: The task involved would be to understand the problem statement, create an architecture, work with User Experience Engineers and design the application. Application is related to automation and would involve working with 6 different kinds of sensors. Initial 2 weeks of Android Training will also be provided.
2. ZigBee Protocol Based Sensor Design and Testing: This project involves designing and testing ZigBee based sensors for consumer applications. Intern would also be required to design one sensor of his choice from scratch and build a working prototype before the internship ends.
3. WebRTC based solutions: The project involved understand and working on WebRTC protocols. End application would use this new protocol and would involve video, audio and data streaming. Second major part involves streaming video using mesh topology on WebRTC.

Who can apply: –
For 1st position:
- the intern MUST be well versed with Java, OOPs concepts and any experience in Android would be preferred.
For 2nd position:
- Students from CS, ECE and EE having experience in Network Protocols. Any existing application/experience on 806.11 protocols is good to have.
For 3rd position:
- Only CS students can apply.
- Any experience in Web Technologies would be preferred.
- Considering WebRTC is relatively a new field, experience in exact subject is not expected, but before internship can begun, intern would be assigned a small 3 day project, and on successful completion, he/she may join for internship.
Students of other branch having experience/good knowledge in any of the above mentioned fields can also apply.

Stipend: – Rs.9,000/- per month.
