About Internship: – The company is looking to add a wider variety of challenges like Artificial Intelligence (bot-vs-bot), Machine Learning, Big data challenges etc. Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Building the framework to support above mentioned challenges (using Rails, PHP)
- Infrastructure scaling, auto scaling, web servers and codecheckers depending on the load
- Coding in Brainfuck ,an esoteric programming language.
- Implementing interface designed by Interviewstreet designer

Who can apply: – Students having good knowledge of web technologies and following programming languages/technologies: Web sockets, Long Polling, XSS, IE Box Model Bug, MVC, AJAX, CORS, OAuth, Sharding and Innodb vs MyISAM.

Build a simple web application (let us call it Shelfari1.0) and submit the link. This web app stores the list of books read or to be read by the user( you can ignore the login and signup for this application) with the following information: book name, author, status- read/not yet read.
Users should be given following options: create a new book, edit the details of the books already added and delete books. Also, provide an option for the user to search his books using the name of the book.
Please use backbone.js as the front end MVC to build this and backend use Django to implement this. You can use any storage engine (mysql, sqlite, pgsql or even file system) to implement this. Screen 1: http://www.diigo.com/item/
