Internship in Bhopal – Web development/Web design/Subscription Management Software – Eklavya Foundation

About Eklavya Foundation : – Eklavya Foundation (http://eklavya.in/) has been working in the field of education since last three decades. Some of its work include developing course curriculum for state boards and CBSE at primary and middle school level,teacher’s training, setting up libraries in villages, publishing etc. It works in close association with NCERT, SCERT, Tata Institute of Social Science (TISS) and Azim Premji Foundation.
About the internship: – There are 3 different profiles available: –
1. Design: – The selected intern would be designing a template for online magazine in unicode font and preparing one complete issue of the Online magazine.
Skills required – Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Idea of Unicode (Hindi).
2. Web development: – The selected intern would develop a shopping cart on website. Interns need to do thorough research to get most suited open source shopping cart for e-commerce website and do a trial run.
Skills required: – Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL database, MVC frameworks like CodeIgniter, Joomla, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jquery, MooTools.
3. Subscription Management Software:- Students applying for this internship should have good knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
Number of internships available: – 3/4
Who can apply: – Students from IITs/BITS-Pilani/DCE/NITs with good knowledge of Web development technologies.
Location: – Bhopal. Network with fellow interns in Bhopal via Internconnect.
Duration: – 1 month (minimum)
Start date: – May 2013
Stipend: – Negotiable + Boarding & lodging + travel allowance + certificate
