About Shilpa Architects: – Sheila Sri Prakash founded Shilpa Architects in Chennai (India) in 1979 and has the distinction of being the first woman in India to have started and operated her own architectural firm, with over 1000 completed architectural works to her credit over an illustrious career spanning 35 years.
About the internship:- Shilpa Architects is looking for a design intern, to work with the Chief Architect to conceptualize and design a range of “indo-centric” furniture, and participate in on-going architectural project. Specific responsibilities include: –
- Developing of concepts
- Model-making
- Doing research into materials and manufacturing techniques
