Internship in Delhi – Law – Law Commission of India
A chance to work with people who decide the fate of capital punishment to the marriageable age. Law Commission of India is offering a unique opportunity for research in law to the undergraduate students of law. The internship would be in New Delhi, and you can choose from two time periods offered, summer and winter.
About Law Commission of India:- Law Commissions for reforms in law dates back to the British era. The present law commission is the 19th after independence and is headed by Justice PV Reddi. The terms of reference include review/repeal of obsolete laws, law and poverty, to keep under review the system of judicial administration to ensure that it is responsive to the reasonable demands of the times and in particular to secure and to examine the impact of globalization on food security, unemployment and recommend measures for the protection of the interests of the marginalized.
About the Internship: Interns are supposed to choose a topic for research before applying and submit a paper on the same at the end of internship period.
Who can apply: Students in 2nd and 3rd year of three-year and 3rd to 5th year of five-year law degree course.
Number of Internships: 5 at a time
Location: New Delhi
Duration: 4 to 6 Weeks in either Summer (May-June) or Winter (November-December)
Stipend: No remuneration/expenses would be paid
