About the internship: – SLCM is looking for hiring interns for the following projects.
- Assessment of market potential and scope of growing SLCM business in leading markets: Interns will be required to map key hub markets and their spokes in terms of key large & medium traders, their volume, crop pattern, their need assessment & solutions to convert them to SLCM solutions.
- Creating a rural skill development program: Interns will be responsible for creating a complete business model that would include, strategic alliances with skill development companies (under NSDC), content creation (after doing need assessment), testing hypothesis, creating business proposition, testing proposition & building a scalability plan.
- Critically evaluating & amending WH management process: Interns will be responsible for studying industry benchmarks, SLCM’s existing WH management, audit processes, customer needs, TAT etc. and suggesting changes.
- Creating a WHM training module & training process: Study industry benchmarks, SLCM’s audit processes, customer needs, TAT etc
- Linking SLCM warehouses electronically: Study current hand held device (HHD) hardware, software, costing, deployment, efficiency improvement & scalability and look at either alternate hardware, processes or bringing in improvement in existing delivery. Also, responsible for providing cost effective, efficient & scaleable solution. Will be working with IT and Operations team
- Creating marketable & scaleable value offering for warehousing business: Intern will work on sustainable & scaleable revenue model for fixed & incremental revenue flow.
