Internship in New Delhi – Law/Economics/Finance/Management – Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
Do you like to analyze events and moves like the SAARC Agreement that have brought Indian parliament to a virtual standstill for months? This summer be where it was brewing. Directorate General of Foreign Trade is offering paid internships to students of law/Economics/Finance/Management.
About DGFT:- Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) formulates and implements Foreign Trade Policy (FTP). These functions entail close interaction with the related arms of the Government, economists, trade bodies, exporters as well as keep track of the changing scenario in International Trade.
About the Internship:- The interns would be assigned with
- Analysis of international trade and market conditions across major markets
- Simplification of rules & procedures of DGFT
- Redrafting or paraphrasing the existing Policy
- Policy Reforms at macro level, review of various schemes of DGFT
- Review of existing notifications
- E-governance within DGFT
- Reduction of transaction costs
- Formulation of new schemes
Who can apply:- Students in the final year of their graduation ( 4th & 5th years, in the case of Law graduates of Five year stream) or post graduate/research students in Economics/Law/Finance/Management.
Number of Interns: Maximum 10 at any point of time.
Location: New Delhi.
Duration: A maximum of 2 months
Stipend: INR 10,000/month
