Internship at Dow AgroSciences – Bharti from NIAEM
Heart of the country lies in its people. It’s how we look at the situation. Bharti visited various villages during her internship and lived best days of her life. All the help she needed was provided and she worked with utmost dedication and humility.
My beautiful journey of internship started with city of dreams Mumbai, where the head-office of Dow AgroSciences India was located. I got two challenging summer projects to do on market research. I was allotted to completely understand the grape pesticide market segment in Maharashtra, rice market segment in MP and to understand the farmers unmet needs to give feasible and strategic recommendations to company. I met with different people with beautiful heart from different villages. They are much richer than what we believe them to be. Whenever I would visit any house of these poor villages, irrespective of caste, color and religion, they welcomed me with open arms. They responded very nicely and offered many things from their small pockets. Who says humanity is dead. Everyone was there to help me and assist me for my data collection. Even people from my organisation were very kind. My guide helped me at every point. At last my boss was very happy with my work and presentation. Everyone congratulated me and there I with work satisfaction at my heart. It was an amazing time to have loads of work with great experience, I enjoyed my work which made this journey awesome.
