About Dirty Feet: – Dirty Feet offers unique travel opportunities for urban children to engage with the local communities and experience
rustic India hands-on. Started in January 2012 by two IRMA alumnae with over 8+ years of experience in the development sector, Dirty Feet has till date done 50 trips with more than 1500 students.
About the internship: – Selected candidates will be responsible for following:
- Destination exploration- Exploring the rural hinterland of Andhra Pradesh and engage with the local communities in depth to understand their lifestyles and livelihoods
- Database creation- Creating a database of information required to put together a ‘rustic’ destination map for Andhra Pradesh
- Travel Itine
- rary design- Contributing in designing interesting travel itineraries for urban kids
Number of internships available: – 3
Who can apply: – Students pursuing post graduation or graduation with a penchant for travel over bumpy roads, good communication skills in the Telugu, a genuine aptitude for everything rustic and with an interest in education, rural tourism, rural development and mass communication are invited to apply. Please do not apply if you’re not well-versed in Telugu
