Internship in Delhi – Environmental Studies – Centre for Science & Environment

If you have an interest in Environment related issues like Climate Change, Air Pollution, Water Management, Environment Education, Food Safety and Toxins etc., this internship is a great opportunity to get hand on experience to push for development that is both sustainable and equitable.
Please note that most of the projects already have their internship requirements filled in so you have to be exceptionally brilliant to make it to this program this winter.
About CSE: – Center for Science and Environment (CSE, http://www.cseindia.org), is a public interest research and advocacy organisation based in New Delhi. CSE researches into, lobbies for and communicates the urgency of development that is both sustainable and equitable. In their own words –

About Internship: – The students are assigned tasks based on the ongoing work at CSE, so that they get a hands on experience of how research and data manipulation is done at CSE. Please do not expect a chalked out project plan at CSE, as work here may vary on day to day basis depending on the need of the project, though work will be confined to the scope of the project assigned. The work will involve field visits and research work.
Who can apply: – Anu undergraduate, graduate or professional student or a recent graduate with a passion for research in area of environmental issues is encouraged to apply
Location: – New Delhi, India.
Stipend: – CSE does not pay any stipend to students but will reimburse for all expenses made for officially sanctioned work. Apart from this they will be provided with office space, computer with internet, library and canteen facility and any other support needed to complete the assigned work. They will be reporting to their supervisor and shall be awarded a completion certificate at the end of the term.
