Internship with Internshala: Things that I expect from it
I still remember the day I applied for Entrepreneurship Intern with Internshala . Semester exams were just over, with most of my friends already booked with their respective summer interns, and here I was still trying to find whatever way possible to escape being tagged “jobless” during vacations.
Applying to whatever I could , I happened to come across this application . Expecting to spend not more than the 20 minutes that I had been giving to others , I ended up staying glued to this particular one for an hour or so. There are definitely better words, but I chose to put it simply as something I really enjoyed. Though it was the multidimensional aspect of the intern profile that interested me initially, it was the ability of the application to stir thoughts in my head which actually made me want bag this one . It wasn’t late for me to realise that productivity is what matters and not joblessness. The amplified version of that one hour pretty much puts all my expectations from this internship in a nut-shell .
While speaking quantitatively , I have always been amused with the fact how startups run with such small teams and am definitely hoping to gain a lot of insight into it. Qualitatively, even though I stand clueless about the work I will be doing in the next 60 days ,if they are busy , with each day bringing in something fresh and new – to act , to learn and to think ; it will definitely be well constructed 60 days .
More than anything , being a 2nd year engineering student , and still trying to figure out the engineer within I continue to do things I love – write , talk and explore. While I just did the first in my very first day , am sure it wouldn’t take long for the others to follow :) .
