About Navjyoti India Foundation: – Navjyoti India Foundation (http://www.navjyoti.org.in/) is a registered non profit organization that was founded in the year 1988 by the Magsaysay Award recipient Dr. Kiran Bedi and 15 other like minded officials of Delhi Police, as a result of the inextricable link that existed between crime and drugs. Over the last 25 years, Navjyoti has been working relentlessly to bring about qualitative behavioral change and impact lives of over one lakh people. Its bottom-up approach of inclusive development has changed lives of many and has led the path in sustainable development. The organization is currently touching the lives of 3 lakh 25 thousand people.
About the internship: – Inters will be working on a project, Navjyoti Business School for Marginalized. The project aims to empower the unemployed youth (female and male) to become the socially driven social change agents by providing them various opportunities and resources for higher education, fellowships support, social entrepreneurship and job oriented skill training. The organization is looking for interns for following profiles:
- Soft Skill & Placement Coordination: Preferably BBA or MBA with understanding and experience of organizing job placements and soft skill training for the students of Navjyoti Community College. Applicants should possess good communication skills, Computer skills- Powerpoint Presentations. Preference would be given for a person who, at present, has good corporate contacts and is willing to network further to create the best possible employment opportunity.
- Research- Applicants should have experience Market Analysis and should have thorough understanding of research as a process and understanding of tools required for statistical analysis. Preference will be given to student who has an experience of conducting social research
- Partnerships- Applicants should have good communication skills, willingness to meet new people and make partnerships for Navjyoti Business School for Marginalized.
