About Swaniti Initiative:- Swaniti Initiative (http://swaniti.in/) is an apolitical organization that focuses on developing sustainable solutions by bringing together talented and passionate youth to work in grassroots India with the support of progressive leadership.
About the internship:- The Swaniti Fellowships aims to engage youth in governance by launching them in constituency development engagements. Interns will work directly with Members of Parliament, Members of Legislative Assembly or Cabinet Ministers on specific engagements. The topic of the engagement will range through the entire spectrum of governance. Interns will work on a problem area identified by the client (MP, MLA, Cabinet minister, etc) and will be expected to provide a final deliverable to the client. In order to conduct research, gather data or implement programs, interns are expected to travel within and outside the constituency to interact with constituency level stakeholders and possible external organizations.

Who can apply: – Applicant should-
- At least be an undergraduate (Bachelor’s or equivalent) from an accredited college or university
- Have proven academic and professional standing through transcripts and employment letters/references
- Be able to commit to work in assigned locations during the tenure of the fellowship
- Be bnder 35 years of age at the time of application
Location: – Kolkata/Barrackpore, Kukkatpally, Bolangir, Kendrapara. Network with other fellow interns via Internconnect
