About HHV Pumps: – HHV pumps (http://www.hhv.in/) is a joint venture between HHV group, the leading vacuum technology company in India over the last 40 years and Dr K. Rajagopal, an alumnus of IIT Madras who was the CEO of BOC Edwards, the largest vacuum technology business worldwide until 2006. The business was started in 2009 with the intent of combining innovative Indian engineering with highly experienced experts from Europe to supply customers globally with innovative vacuum solutions with the lowest cost of ownership.
About Internship: – The intern can work either on product and applications development or operational improvements to the supply chain. There is an expectation that the intern will be able to use his or her undoubted intellect and enquiring mind to produce innovative solutions to practical problems in area of vacuum technology.
Who can apply: – Ideal candidates will be from a Mechanical or Chemical engineering background although others areas may be acceptable, with a practical mindset and the ability to work with people. It is also expected that the intern will demonstrate capabilities to work hard as well as to innovate. Preference would be given to students from premier engineering institutes like IITs.
Location: – Bangalore, India
Duration: – 10-12 weeks
Start Date: – 1-May-2011 or flexible based on student’s academic calendar
Stipend: – Rs. 5,000 / month
