National Institute of Science at Technology at Orissa is inviting applications from talented and motivated B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. students for its summer research internship program 2012. The research areas that students would be working on are – Embedded Systems, Wireless Communications, Sensor Networks, VLSI Design, Nanotechnology, Semiconductors Devices, High Speed Computing, Cloud Computing, Parallel Processing, Optimization, Fiber Optics, Virtual Instrumentation, Simulation Studies, Robotics, Fluid flow, Heat and Mass Transfer, CFD , Organic Synthesis. The last date to apply is 31st March 2012 – hurry!
About NIST: – NIST is a DSIR, Government of India, certified and recognized R & D Center. NIST is the only TIFAC CORE Center of India funded by Department of Science & Technology in 3G/4G Communications.
About the internship: – The aim of the program is to facilitate talented student interns to work under the guidance of highly experienced research professors resulting in R & D publications, Term Papers, innovative B.Tech Projects, PhD Topics, etc. in the research areas mentioned above.
Who can apply: – Final Year or Pre-Final year B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/M.Sc students
Location: – NIST Behrampur, Orissa
Duration: – 2 months (starting May/June 2012)
Stipend: – Rs. 1200/- per month + free boarding and lodging + to and fro travel reimbursement
