About New Rubric: – New Rubric Solutions (www.newrubric.com) is a start-up based in Bangalore. The firm was founded by IIM Alumni, and the senior teams are from reputed engineering and management institutions, and have several years of experience with MNCs (http://linkd.in/vCtyTU).
The firm is developing a highly differentiated and innovative mobile platform solution for the vibrant, high growth area of Education. New Rubric is preparing for the launch of its product, and is looking for energetic, high performing software engineers to be part of its technical team.
About the internship: – The candidate will be involved in assisting the Product Development and Project team in their day to day software development activities. This will involve one or more of the following:
- Android application development for the front-end
- Java/J2EE based back-end development
- Cloud based hosting
- Software testing
Who can apply: – Final year students from software engineering stream from a reputed institution, with an aggregate score of atleast 75% till now. In addition the candidate must possess –
- Good Analytical and logical thinking skills
- Good learning ability
- Great attitude to code, test, debug and deliver high quality output
- Ability to work in teams
- Exposure to programming in Java will be an added advantage
Location: – Bangalore, India
Duration: – Minimum of 2 months. Open to consider successful candidates for full time roles based on individual performance.
Start date: – May 2012
Stipend: – Performance based + certificate of internship and letter of recommendation would be provided.
