Summer Internship in Delhi – Media & Journalism – Rakshak Foundation

About Rakshak Foundation: – Rakshak Foundation (http://www.rakshakfoundation.org/) is a non-profit organization founded by the Alumni of India’s elite educational institutes like IITs and IIMs, based in California, USA with a sister organization in India. The highly dedicated think tank at Rakshak Foundation does analysis and research on various public policy issues including Parliamentary bills and provides recommendations to decision makers. In the last few years, Rakshak Foundation has been invited 10 times by the parliamentary committees for oral depositions.
About the internship: – Selected candidates will be responsible for following –
- Strategizing a mass media campaign for foundation in coherence with its present and future initiatives.
- Preparing short video clippings on most pressing social issues like education, health, etc. to sensitize people.
- Conceptualize an innovative competition to carry out foundation’s vision (details to be provided later)
- Preparing a short documentary film featuring various initiatives of Rakshak Foundation.
- Preparing videos of various speakers and workshop sessions conducted during the internship period.

Who can apply: – Candidate should have good film making, video editing and designing skills.
