Now, I am aware that Google takes interns directly from campuses like IITs, IIITs, NITs etc. But they do publicize these internships on their website & on LinkedIn which gives an impression that an interested student can apply directly as well. About Internship: – As a Software Engineering intern, you would –
- Research, conceive and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google’s product offering.
- Contribute to a wide variety of projects utilising natural language processing, artificial intelligence, data compression, machine learning and search technologies.
- Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to massive amounts of data and information.
- Solve all problems that come your way.
Who can apply: – Any graduate, post graduate, Ph.D student in computer science or related discipline with experience in system softwares / algorithms. Should have excellent implementation skills (C++, Java, Python), knowledge of UNIX/Linux or Windows environments ans APIs, and familiarity with TCP/IP and network programming is a plus
Location: – Bangalore, Hyderabad, India
Duration: – a minimum of 3 months
Start date: – flexible as per academic schedule
Stipend: – Competitive salary and relocation assistance
