About Foundation for Democratic Reforms: – Foundation for Democratic Reforms (www.fdrindia.org) is India’s leading think-tank and research-resource centre for promoting democratic institutions and formulating fundamental reforms in democratic and governance spheres and in critical areas of public policy. FDR was established in 1996 and is based in Hyderabad. For the last 15 years, FDR is actively engaged in informed advocacy of comprehensive electoral reforms, strengthening citizen-centred governance and public policy, empowerment of local governments, judicial and police reforms and instruments of transparency and accountability.
About Internship: – This is an opportunity to study governance reforms and public policy, democratic and constitutional institutions in India. FDR offers real-time projects in Research, Analysis, Advocacy and Communication, Event Planning and Coordination in governance and public policy issues.

Who can apply: – Any post-graduates and graduates from Social Sciences & Humanities, Law, Public Policy and Management streams or those taking a sabbatical from their can apply for this internship.
Location:- Hyderabad, India
Duration:- 2 months
Start date:- August 2012
Stipend:- Performance based stipend will be provided on completion of internship.
