Summer internship with Indian Institute of Remote Sensing, Dehradun
An interesting and niche internship opportunity for those who are interested in remote sensing and geoinformatics. Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS, http://www.iirs-nrsc.gov.in) carries out research in frontier areas of remote sensing and geoinformatics and as part of its outreach policy it allows post graduate students to carry out their dissertation and undergraduate students their summer training at IIRS. For summer training, the last date to apply is 15th March – hurry!
About the internship: – The topic allotted to the student will be within the overall framework of research and operational programmes of IIRS in areas of remote sensing and geoinformatics.
Number of internships: – 25 (maximum)
Who can apply: – Students from reputed institutes/ centres of excellence (e.g. IITs, BITS-Pilani, IISc, IIST, NITs etc.) with 65% or above marks can apply.
Duration: – 6-8 weeeks
Location: – Dehradun, India
Stipend: – This is an unpaid internship.
