Getting an engineering internship was never that difficult being from a reputed college, but to get an intern where you could follow your passion is amazing.
I was always interested in writing cricket articles and did write many too, but when applied for interns, didn’t get any response. Suddenly while searching for more internship on google I found the link for internshala.com. While going through the website I found one tips section, and that changed my life. It gave me a practical view of what an HR may expect and how he would reject or accept any letters. I did follow each and every tip and applied for Sports Journalism Internships and Jobs at 7 places. I got reply from 3 of them, but the rest 4 didn’t reply, and then I did the most important thing – I followed up – and believe me I got reply from all the 4 left ones. I enjoyed my time totally doing internship with thesportscampus.com and learnt many things which I would have never known otherwise.
If there is anyone looking to apply for jobs or internships I recommend please do go through the tips given on this website thoroughly, it will help a lot.
Was this interesting? If yes, please like the post on facebook (below) and help Aditya become winner of the week and win the prize (Rs. 1,000/-) that he truly deserves!
